The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has proclaimed the country's winning senators from this year's elections on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
A combination of returning, reelected, and novices politicians gathered the highest votes during the May 9 voting.
The following are the newly elected 12 senators:
Robin Padilla – 26,612,434 votes
Loren Legarda – 24264,969 votes
Raffy Tulfo – 23,396,945 votes
Win Gatchalian – 20,602,655 votes
Chiz Escudero – 20,271,458 votes
Mark Villar – 19,475,592 votes
Alan Peter Cayetano – 19,294,314 votes
Migz Zubiri – 18,734,336 votes
Joel Villanueva – 18,486,034 votes
JV Ejercito – 15,841,858 votes
Risa Hontiveros – 15,420,807 votes
Jinggoy Estrada – 14,108,625 votes
The newly proclaimed 12 senators of the Philippines will serve a six-year term together with the 2019 elected senators and will begin their service to the public on June 30, 2022.
