World of Wonder (WOW) Productions revealed Jiggly Caliente as one of the permanent judges for Drag Race Philippines.

Along with the revelations, it will be the first international franchise to have its companion show, ‘Drag Race Philippines: Untucked’, where juicy behind-the-scenes of the queens are shown.

WOW teased the fans with a first look at the workroom and the main stage, as well as a silhouette of the main host that is yet to be announced.

“There is a fierce Filipino drag scene and I am proud to be returning to my home country in this new role as a Drag Race judge to shine a spotlight on these incredible artists to the world—or the universe, rather. Pak! Mabuhay, Drag Race!” Jiggly said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

During Rupaul’s DragCon at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Jiggly hopes that she could make the fans proud of Drag Race Philippines, and revealed that the reason for having Untucked is “because these b*tches are f*cking dramatic.”

She has also said on an Instagram post that it is a responsibility she took seriously and taken care of.

Fellow Filipino-American Drag Race star Ongina showed her support via a Tweet that says, “As the first Pinoy of this franchise, I’m so happy to see this! Congratulations @jiggly_official and the whole team and cast. MABUHAY!”

Drag Race legend Manila Luzon also showed her support in a tweet: “I am so excited my Pinay sister, one of my dearest friends is joining the judges panel on Drag Race Philippines!! This is one (of) our dreams together to be on PH TV!”

Luzon will be having her own drag reality show called Drag Den Philippines that is yet to announce its premiere date.

Jiggly Caliente is the third Drag Race alumna to join the panel for an international franchise after Drag Race Canada’s host, Season 11 Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Season 12’s Nicky Doll in Drag Race France.

Drag Race Philippines premieres August 17 globally on WOWPresents Plus and Discovery+ in the Philippines.
