When a person begins to entrust everything to God's hands, his or her life can be transformed.

Faith Jiao, a daughter, church leader, marketing, and administration officer tells her journey of coping with the challenges she faced in her life as a Christian.

When she was in college, she was a Christian who had been insulted and humiliated by non-believers during those years, but this has not stopped her from continuing to serve the Lord at her age.

On the other hand, one of the most challenging obstacles she experienced was the death of someone close to her family, her sister's husband, who was also a band leader in their church and had left her sister with their three-month-old daughter.

Faith and her family came through a lot of crying and mourning as she said. However, despite the loss, one of the aspects they did to cope with was to hold to God's promises. They believed that the time would come that they would resurrect in the same place again.

She finds difficulties as a church leader since she is also an overall worship leader who shoulders almost everything in the view that she has to meet various people with diverse personalities and characters. The past became a good lesson for her since it reminded her that before she got to where she is now, she was once stubborn and hardheaded as well.

She also works as a marketing officer and an administrative officer in an institute, in addition to being a worship leader.

"...We do not know what lies in the future but I am happy right now. My definition of happiness is not because everything is perfect, but masaya ako dahil I have faith in my heart. I'm happy din kasi yung family ko is very supportive and my church family, even sa career ko, the institution that I can work and I can serve God at the same time and also in the area of relationship, I am also very blessed to have a fiance, a man like him." she said.

Faith also mentioned that it is difficult to be detached from what she has been doing for basically her entire life.

She also added that she had already discussed with her partner how the church had become a part of her life, and that being a leader and employee is not easy; it takes a lot of time and effort.

Moreover, Faith also recounted and shared with us what she appreciates and is thankful for in life. Her family is the first thing she’s been thankful for. Her family taught her how to fear God and to serve him. “I’m grateful because I grew up as a Christian.” she said.

In spite of all that she was going through, she was still not raised in a way that she was neglected even though her parents had a disability. She is grateful that her parents support her in making decisions in her life. On how she manages her life and on how she keeps on struggling for them. She added that her parents continue supporting her even though she comes home late and tired. Because her parents know that she is doing it for the Lord. Even her church family. She is thankful for having them in life.

“They are treating me like a real family, even (though) we’re not biologically related. I can feel their love, support and never leave me behind.” she added.

She also appreciates her disciples for giving her inspiration to keep on going and they are also the reason why she is called the “leader.”

Faith Jiao left a statement expressing that her confidence is not based on the opinions of others, but on what God has placed within her.

She made everything clear and rooted herself in the word rather than the world.
