Adamsonians went to Ortigas' Emerald Avenue to show their support for Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan's presidential and vice-presidential campaigns on Sunday, March 20, 2022,

At about 12:30 p.m., participants gathered in pink at The Podium mall to prepare for the Pasig City Grand Rally. "Adamsonians para kay Leni," a group of Vincentian students, professors, faculty, employees, leaders, and alumni who support the stated tandem, initiated the project.

At 5 p.m., the event managers had predicted 80,000 attendees, but Pasig City Police subsequently revised that number to a whopping 137,000, making it the largest Leni-Kiko audience to date.

Even though the Adamsonians para kay Leni group's administrators had no exact count of how many Adamsonians attended, they acknowledged through text message that the Google Form for attendees had received 264 submissions.

When it comes to selecting leaders, The president of AdU, Fr. Marcelo Manimtim, CM, stated he had researched the backgrounds of all candidate presidents and vice presidents.

"While she [Robredo] was still in politics, she helped form Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panlegal (SALIGAN), which provides legal assistance to disadvantaged communities such as farmers, fisherfolks, urban poor, indigenous groups, battered women, and abandoned children," Manimtim noted.

Former AdU student leaders explain why they accept the Leni-Kiko relationship.

Nicole Jean Mercado, the President of the Adamson University Student Government (AUSG) said that they were educated to be the best in character, competence, and generosity, which should be found in our country's next leader.

"Leni and Kiko have the leadership qualities that our country requires. Honesty, humbleness, calmly, and setting a positive example. They have the knowledge and expertise without the stain of corruption, and most importantly, compassion and charity for the least of our Filipino brothers and sisters, that when they are elected, we know that there's nothing will be left in our society." Mercado said.

As state citizens, we have the freedom to choose which political party we want to vote for based on our personal and ideal preferences.
