Classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be suspended during election-related activities.

On their Facebook page, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced on Monday, April 18, 2022, the suspension of classes in public schools nationwide from May 2 to 13.

According to DepEd, this is based on the DepEd Order No. 29, S. 2021, which the said dates will be reserved for National Election-related Activities.

"Ang mga guro ay inaasahan pa ring mag-report sa kanilang paaralan sa mga araw na walang election-related duties o activities (Teachers are expected to report to their respective schools during days if they have no election-related duties or activities)," the DepEd said.
