Metro Manila remains under Alert Level 1 until Good Friday

Malacañang made an announcement last March 31, 2022, that Metro Manila will remain under COVID Alert level 1 from April 1, 2022, until April 15, 2022.


Acting presidential spokesperson, Martin Andanar said that the Inter-Agency Taskforce (IATF) has approved the Alert level classification. Below is the list of other provinces under Alert level 1.


Provinces will remain under Alert level 1 such as:

  • Cordillera Administrative Region

  • Regions I & II except Nueva Ecija

  • Regions III & IV-A except Quezon

  • Region IV-B except Occidental Mindoro and Palawan

  • Region V except CamSur, CamNorte, Sorsogon, and Masbate

  • Region VI except Antique, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental

  • Region VIII Leyte, Northern, Eastern, and Western Samar

  • Region VII except Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental

  • Region IX except Zamboanga del Sur, del Norte, Sibugay, City of Isabela

  • Region X except Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental

  • Region XI except Davao de Oro, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental

  • Regions XII & XIII except North Cotabato, South Cotabato, General Santos City, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Island


These regions will remain under alert level 1, except those that are mentioned and excluded which will be under Alert level 2.


Other cities and provinces that were not mentioned are under Alert level 2 according to the IATF and Malacañang.
