After a very long, stressful, and draining three years of online classes, Adamson announced that students would return to campus for the next academic year.

Imagining the campus and how you would briskly walk the walkway to get to class on time makes my heart flutter and wait with excitement.

I can still clearly remember our last day inside the campus. Every student loudly cheered and was relieved. We were so excited and grateful for the one-week suspension because everyone was stressed caused by the incoming midterm exams.

All students rushed downstairs from CS Building and were already planning with other klasmeyts for the next week, but little did we know it would be our last.

Now, we were all stuck inside the comfort of our homes in front of our gadgets. No loud chatters, sleeping classmates, whiteboards, and the sense of comfort to see everyone was stressed, not just myself.

I admit, during the first few weeks of quarantine, my introverted self did not mind chilling on my bed and relaxing with my family.

But as months passed, we became more passive, worried, and unmotivated. It was hard to figure out the situation and be active.

Gradually, we learn how to cope and establish a healthy routine for ourselves.

Some found new hobbies like reading, cooking, and baking to help them focus. The majority trusted their friends for emotional support, while others, myself included, buried their worries with K-Pop.

It was challenging to find ourselves; it was not easy to pretend everything was fine after the pandemic took a toll on each of us.

We discovered various—whether positive or negative—things during our exhausting quarantine days, and we realized the importance of little things that we took for granted.

As this academic year reach its final few days, we now anticipate our much-needed rest and the return to the four corners of the classroom in our second home, Adamson University.
