Since the beginning of the pandemic, changes have been triggered by fear, especially in the educational sector of the Philippines.

The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission of Higher Education (CHED) have implemented online classes for almost two years now, and almost everyone has already grown used to the fear of being outside with crowded people like in school areas.

As the world continues to look for ways to defeat and withstand the virus, there is some concern about how safe it is to return to the normal routine of commuting and attending face-to-face classes.

One of the most common student concerns is that they are not truly learning and are not motivated to learn or listen to their instructors in online classes, which prompted DepEd and the Department of Health to require face-to-face classes.

Face-to-face classes are a must that the students of the Philippines should now again experience and enjoy while following the safety protocols established by the Department of Health.

It is because face-to-face classes are far more effective than online classes. After all, one is being closely observed and can feel the support and motivation both from the learning instructor and their classmates.

Face-to-face set-up is what the students fully know and need for them to be able to learn and say that attending classes is fun.

It is not a debate that the majority of the students dropped out or got low grades as soon as online classes started, which is a clear indicator of how ineffective and a waste of resources for both the school institutions and the individual students' online classes are.
