AdU Lady Falcons get their third straight victory, shut down FEU Lady Tamaraws

The Adamson Lady Falcons claimed their third consecutive win after winning against the FEU Lady Tamaraws with 23-25, 25-9, 25-18, 25-18, on May 14 in the UAAP Season 84 Women's Volleyball Tournament held at the Mall of Asia Arena.


Lucille Almonte, a returning hitter from the Lady Falcons shone during their intense game against the Lady Tamaraws as she delivered 17 points with 11 outstanding digs.


With 14 points, Kate Santiago also showed excellent performance, while Trisha Genesis finished with 11 points with seven incredible receptions.


During the second set, rookie May Ann Nique made sure her net presence is felt and gave three excellent blocks, collecting 10 points that left the Lady Tamaraw in the hands of Lady Falcons with 25-9.


The Lady Falcons secured their set victory in the third frame with 21-16 after Almonte's attacks, giving FEU their second set loss against AdU.


The San Marcelino-based squad remained in their winning form until the fourth and won over the Morayta-based squad.


The Adamson Lady Falcons will try to keep their winning momentum for their next game against the University of Sto. Tomas Golden Tigresses on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
