Lady Falcons crossed a smooth win against the University of the East in straight sets of 25-23, 25-20, 25-18 in the UAAP Season 84 Women’s Volleyball tournament last May 19, 2022, at SM Mall of Asia.

After losing to UST last Tuesday, Lady Falcons lit a burning passion to recover from defeat and executed powerful attacks to regain the momentum against UE. The opponent almost got the first set but the Falcons strengthened their defense and still took over the first set.

The second set was dominated by quick and cross-scored attacks by Genesis and Romero. The team was on the ground with their defense by consistent blocks of the rival while carrying out strategic offense to ace the game.

Toring, who wasn’t on her best play in the last match, compensated for her performance by delivering a total of 14 points with 10 attacks and 4 blocks. The team prepared powerful attacks and wise defense to improve their gameplay as evident throughout the match.

The momentum didn’t stop for the Lady Falcons as they led the score throughout the three sets and matched up the game with a sweep victory.

Nuique top-scored the game for Adamson contributing 15 points and Cruz with a total of 10 points.

Adamson University head coach Lerma Giron said, Sabi ko lang sa kanila, tanggapin yung pagkatalo namin sa UST. Maraming lessons na itinuro sa bawat isa sa amin. Lahat ng pagkakamali natin doon, i-try natin i-correct this game (As I’ve told them, accept our defeat against UST. There are many lessons taught to each of us. All our mistakes there, let's try to correct this game).”

And that was exactly what the Lady Falcons did, pouring their life into the game they soared to another victory against UE.
